
Candidate lands in Austria Tirol for Nursing Work
A nursing candidate from Mount Kenya University has successfully arrived in Tirol, Austria,
to begin their nursing career, thanks to the partnership between Lebenshilfe Tirol and
Mount Kenya University. The candidate was warmly welcomed by Lebenshilfe Tirol’s Vice
President, Georg Willeit, marking an important milestone in this collaboration.

Mount Kenya University played a key role in preparing the candidate for this opportunity,
providing German language lessons to ensure they were ready to integrate smoothly into
their new environment. Additionally, TYE Pathways supported the process with pre-
departure training, visa assistance, and guidance to help the candidate understand what
to expect while transitioning to a new country.
